Procter and Gamble (PG) is doing better than its competitor, Johnson and Johnson (JNJ), as of today. Today, November 23, PG is at 62.93 and JNJ is at 62.61. Last week however JNJ started and ended the week higher than PG, but this week so far PG is coming back up.
How about comparing the stocks for the last month have they been going up and down similarly? When comparing stock you need to look to see if the price of stock is going up and down with the overall market or if it due to the fact that the company has earnings.
